Strength of a Woman

What does being a “strong” woman mean to you?

Nuturer?

Manifestor?

Creative?

Inspired?

Inspiring?

Vulnerable?

Cohesive?

Resilient?

Centred?

Articulates her desires?

Accepting?

Authentic?

Autonomous?

It took me a long time to comprehend that:

being a “strong” woman does NOT = a woman trying to “be” a man.

I am the only daughter in a family of four children.

A strong willed, solar, alpha-male father.

Three Brothers with firm, fixed male views and opinions.

Today - a strong woman for me is she who is gracefully and appropriately engaging with both the feminine and masculine qualities in order to navigate, meet and greet all that life brings. She embraces the fact that these principles exist in ALL beings and things.
