THE EASEFUL WAY:

A Path to Contentment

Through the Easeful Way 3 step process, you are invited to return to your body, to fully inhabit your space and be guided to return to flourishing health.

Step 1: A Conversation of Health

Begin with a 1-1 Ayurveda Health Consultation. Together, we assess the current state of your digestion (agni), patterns of imbalance and observe your natural constitution. We’ll identify 3 to 5 initial steps to address immediate concerns and guide you toward long-term holistic health. From here, the path will be tailored to your unique needs. This consultation can stand alone or serve as the first step in The Easeful Way.

Step 2: Preparing the Ground

Interested in working with me longer term?

To lay a strong foundation for our continued work together, I recommend incorporating essential practices that support your journey. The programs below provide the tools you need to nurture and balance your health. I will guide and personalize your path, tailoring the program to your unique needs.

The below preparatory programs, offered by Hale Pule School of Ayurveda and Yoga offer effective tools of self responsibility. I will support you as you participate in their programs and learn to take care of your digestion, reduce and eradicate emotional eating and make better choices when it comes to eating and living.

Based on your individual needs, I will recommend one of the following:

  • SIMPLE AYURVEDIC COOKING

Learn how to prepare nourishing meals that support digestion, with simple ingredients and mindful approaches to eating.

  • THE YOGA OF EATING

A structured 12-week program designed to help you shift from food cravings, addiction, and disordered eating to a balanced, healthy relationship with food.

  • AGNI THERAPY

Strengthen your digestive fire (agni), the foundation of health and vitality, through time-tested Ayurvedic practices. (These practices are encouraged as part of The Way of Contentment.)

Step 3: Renewal

Once foundational practices are in place, I guide a group Panchakarma immersion in India once a year as part of the renewal process. Under the care of experienced Vaidyas (Ayurveda doctors and healers), I offer in person guidance as you undergo a purification process to remove metabolic toxins from undigested food and emotional matter. It’s more than just a physical experience. Panchakarma is a profound spiritual journey—an invitation to reflect, embrace humility, connect, and realign with a holistic way of living.

The benefits of Panchakarma can be significant. The transformation continues in the months that follow. Panchakarma:

  • Fosters mental clarity and focus.

  • Removes toxins and helps to eliminate disease.

  • Strengthens the immune system and enhances overall vitality.

  • Improves physical and mental flexibility.

  • Inspires creativity and the free flow of inspiration.

  • Softens the edges of the ego, inviting humility and openness.

  • Releases old patterns of negative thinking.

  • Breaks the cycle of ancestral energy and unhelpful karmas.

  • Deepens connection with deeper consciousness and the true self.

Panchakarma is a gateway to renewal on every level.

It’s an opportunity to broaden your perspective and shift to a more holistic way of living and seeing yourself and life. If you are open to it, it will deepen your connection with Spirit and bring you closer to “home”.

Yoga Sutra 2.46: Sthira Sukham Asanam

(स्थिरसुखमासनम्)

Sthira Sukham Asanam is a verse from the Yoga texts. In essence it’s reminding us that true health comes from establishing a steady, easeful seat within oneself. To inhabit our bodies each day is to make choices that support it through the 4 pillars of health - diet, daily activities, sleep, and the management of our energy. When health is disturbed, there is an energetic departure from the body.
